In addition to the simple fact that being happy will cause you to feel good, this positivity is also going to help you become a very successful individual. Here are 6 reasons why:
1) You’ll Have Hope To Achieve Your Goal
With happiness comes positivity. With positivity comes optimism. With optimism comes hope.
Hope is the belief you have in yourself and your abilities that you can (and will) ultimately reach your goal through persistence and dedication. If you feel happy the majority of the time, you likely have a high level of confidence. When this is evident, you’re going to have a higher tendency to be willing to try new things (eg. the actions you may need to take in order to be successful and reach your goals).
This happiness and subsequent confidence will raise your hope over the long term, causing you to push past any failures or setbacks you may experience in an attempt to ultimately reach your target. When most people fail, they give up all together and revert back to the same old undesirable habits, lifestyles, and results. However, being happy will cause you to focus on the good (for example, helping you notice the small “wins” you experience along the path to greatness), and this is what will ultimately keep you inspired to keep persisting in the same forward direction, regardless of the setbacks you may experience along the way.
2) You’ll Start To Be More Creative
Creativity is a characteristic that is essential to your success. Artists and inventors are not the only people who are creative; all humans are creative, and the only way to develop your creative side is to use it and exercise it often.

When you set a goal and work toward achieving it, it’s not always achieving the goal that’ll make you successful; sometimes, it deals with how fast you can achieve it. Granted, you may not know how to achieve your goal when you first start out, but if you set an end date for your goal and begin doing everything you can with a profound sense of urgency and productivity, then this will help you achieve your goal faster. This, in turn, will give you more time in the future to work toward achieving even bigger, more audacious goals.
Being happy will help you be more productive and time-efficient. This is because you’ll seemingly have more energy and desire to do the actions required. When you’re happy, your body’s energy shifts into a high speed of vibration, and this high speed of energy is going to help you muster up the discipline to work efficiently and through any struggles you may encounter.
In addition to this, happiness will also help you be more optimistic. When you’re happy, you’ll naturally want to focus on your goal coming true and not on the failure or resistance you may experience from the outer world along the way. By focusing on where you want to get to and not on where you are, this will naturally encourage you to fix the things that aren’t working for you and do all of your daily activities in much more time-efficient way.
4) You’ll Have A Healthier Body
I’m not saying here that all healthy people are happy and all unhealthy people are unhappy. Instead, I’m saying that with a positive attitude and a higher conscious awareness, regardless of your current body, you’ll become more inclined and inspired to exercise your body and get it into tip-top shape.
With a healthy body, you will have much more energy to do the things you have to do and get done throughout each day, and this will help you actually take daily action and do the things that will have the most significant contribution to your overall success.
Having a healthy body also means that you’ll be able to experience much more of the pleasant things in life. For starters, you won’t have other individuals look at you and be critical of how poorly you’ve maintained your body. Second, having a good body image in the eyes of yourself and in the eyes of others will help you be more confident, which, as we previously discussed, means that you’ll have a greater belief in yourself and your abilities regarding the fact that you will, ultimately, be a success.
5) You’ll Allow The Law Of Attraction To Work For You
If you’ve watched the hit-movie The Secret, then you know that the Law of Attraction is something that is working constantly, regardless of whether or not you believe in it. You also know that the universe (quite simply) brings people, events, and circumstances to you that are in alignment with your dominant emotional state. (Whatever you’re in “harmony” with, you attract.)
Therefore, if you feel overwhelmed with debt and financial troubles (and that is what you focus on and emotionalize with), then you will attract more debt and other negative, unwanted results into your life. However, if you take control of your emotions and work on becoming a happy, positive individual (regardless of your outer circumstances), then you will find that many more desirable events will come your way and be attracted to you, helping contribute to your ultimate success.
Goals are for growth and advancement and when you’re continuously working toward their achievement then you are successful. Therefore, if you focus and work on being happy all the time, then this will help you be a success because the Law of Attraction will respond to your happiness and bring you people and opportunities that will help you achieve your goals.

Does success come from happiness or does happiness come from success? The truth is that they are both often interconnected and when you have one, generally the other will follow, in turn.

- Take daily action that’ll progressively, day-by-day move you forward (and you need to have the right positive energy to do this); and
- Have positive thoughts that are congruent to those of the individual you’re trying to become in the goal-setting process. Take a second to notice how all of these steps require happiness and/or positive energy in order for them to really work and benefit you over time.
How You Can Be Happy
If you “react” to outer circumstances, this means that you get happy when you succeed and when something works out for you and that you get sad when you fail or have a negative experience. If you “respond” to outer circumstances, though, then you dictate how you feel at all times because you are in full control of your emotions. In other words, you end up controlling your outer circumstances; you don’t allow your outer circumstances to control you.
